Frequently asked questions

Is overtime calculated over two weeks?

No. The FLSA requires each workweek to stand alone (29 CFR 778.104). Working 50 hours one week and 30 the next still earns 10 overtime hours.

How many paychecks is biweekly?

26 per year (27 in some years when an extra Friday falls in the calendar).
